EVERYTHING IS A PHOTOGRAPH

Introduction

If you have an active imagination, anything can make for an interesting shot. Always be on the lookout for beautiful or interesting things. If you don’t have a camera with you, you can use your phone!

Story

Almost anything can become the subject of an interesting photo when you approach it with creativity and intention. It’s not always about what you’re photographing, but how you choose to see it. A simple object, like a cup on a table or a crack in the pavement, can be transformed into something visually engaging through the use of light, perspective, framing, or contrast.

By slowing down and thinking about the angles, textures, colours, and the story an image might tell, even the most ordinary subjects reveal unexpected beauty and character. With the right mindset, photography becomes less about finding something extraordinary and more about discovering the extraordinary within the everyday.

Conclusion

This image was shot on my way home from capturing the action of a local football match. My bags were heavy, but I still put them down to get a camera out for this shot.

The worst kind of photo to have, is the one you don’t.
